As Deepu bro said it's a second sports channel from Sony available in Tamil and Telugu. In other words 1st Tamil and Telugu Sports channel.

Only Live IPL is in Tamil and Telugu rest no Broadcaster can launch Sports channel in Tamil and Telugu.

But they already have plans for regional feed for other sports event. We read that in another thread.

Yeah i have seen it yesterday evening for quite some time.

Sony Kix is now totally dedicated to Tamil and Telugu. Its just showing these language audio feeds between IPL matches.

All other content is in English, so we have got another sports channel from Sony.

And surprisingly Sony is promoting Kix very much as a international leauge football was showing LIVE and it was not on Sony Six

With new channel SONY opens their door to concentrate more on Cricket for SIX.

I hope they bought the rights of Bangladesh and NZ cricket now.
