The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has admitted the appeals filed by the DTH Association, Videocon d2h and Sun Direct against the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) tariff order for customer premises equipment (CPE) and has put the matter under the heading ‘For Orders’ on 25 May. During the hearing on 8 May, Advocate Kirtiman Singh accepted the notice on behalf of TRAI. The tribunal directed the regulator to file a short reply to the issue of interim relief prayed for on behalf of the appellants, by 18 May. Rejoinder, if any, may be filed by 22 May.

I think the united commission of DTH asked d2h and Sun Direct to file petitioned. All 6 DTH's are not required when you have DTH Association kinda place ;)

For our bitterness TDSAT should rules out DTH operators case. Because if verdict goes in favour of DTH operators, then we consumers are at loss.
