But HD access policy will remain as HD channels require more bandwidth than SD.

Yeah true but every DTH base pack contain some channels which one typical customer doesn't watch at all for example in D2h ROI Rs 220 pack I am paying for punjabi, Bhojpuri, marathi and south Indian channels which I don't understand and never watch.

Why do we need HD access policy? I think you haven't read my earlier discussion regarding this. Why don't they make oour life simple by introducing HD addon packs like all dth operator do. Who wants HD access fee here. I guess no one. So, why these stupid can't read the customer pulse like any other operator.

Simple reason is they believe that let customer go to hell. They want money and they are leaving no stone unturned to piss us off with their absurd policies.

Every DTH packaging has some pros and cons. Yeah HD access policy is useless if somebody does not want to subscribe SD channel. Hope after migration they will come up with only HD channels. But it is difficult to create such a HD pack as very few HD channels are available in India. But that HD package will definitely be higher than the corresponding SD pack.

TS is and will always be the most expensive DTH operator. With each HD channel addition they want to suck more blood(money) of their subscriber

Every DTH now a days providing all demanding channels. But it's only Tata sky which is charging insane.

I am not saying that only Tata Sky is culprit. Others too are equally playing with Customers. But it's Tata sky whose policies are the most absurd.
