Airtel Digital Tv is damn slow in adding newly launched Channels. In this way, they will surely loose the Dth market. Look at Tata Sky and Dish Tv, they are ruling the Dth Market now. They have added lot of Channels on their platform in this year. On the other side, Airtel is acting like a miser in the Channel addition.

I am finally making up my mind to shift to either TS or Dish Tv. Lets hope for the best.

How many time you will convey the same message in a variety of ways? We already got it what you want to say. Now it's better you write to airtel and make them realize what you want. For one stupid channel &pictures, you can't say that DTH operator is slow in adding channel.

Same type of demand was done when movies OK was launched and people like you cried so much for that channel. Now none of them even talk about that channel.

So, be practical what you want.

Dont say Tatasky is fast in adding channels.

They were creeping like a turtle from last few year regarding new channels addition.

Its just from last month they got some space by converting channel to Mpeg4. Soon that space gone be consumed and then again Tatasky left empty hand. Still Tatasky have lots more channels missing in there lineup.

U r right about Dishtv that they are fast in channel addition because they have ample tp space.

So my advice to u that stick with Airtel because they are using there tp space wisely and have best PQ quality.

Thank you both of you for the wise reply. Really appreciate that. Anyway, I am not criticizing Airtel as its been many years as I am with Airtel now.

I will surely say that Airtel Digital Tv has the best PQ and SQ as compared to other Dths. Earlier I was with Dish Tv few years ago, but shifted to Airtel because of its fantastic PQ and SQ in SD and HD feed. I will stick to Airtel Digital Tv.

IndianMascot: can we that 'dumb' option open for all members. Observe for 1 month, and if members are found misusing that rating then it can be disabled, but I seriously believe it should be enabled, its quite a funny rating.

Airtel is going to add only few sd channels and 1-2 HD channels till 2014end.
So if you want new channels change your dth.

I dont agree completely. In case of HD channels, may be yes, they are not to keen.
But, they add SD channels regularly. Important channels like Star Sports 2, HBO Defined / HITS etc still havent been added by other DTHs., but added by airtel.
ADTV is mkt leader in Tamil channels, almost leading in Malayalam. Quite acceptable in Kannada, 2nd best in Telugu next to only SUNDrct.

Only important channel missing from ADTV ( added on all of other DTHs) is :
MTunes.

Other channels like : 9x0, TravelXP, RTL Thrill, Baby TV, NGC Music are sporadic on all DTHs.

Thus, I feel they are pretty ok, in SD channels and will continue to do so in future too.
