Breaking News "Test HD Service" On Tatasky TP

Yes it could be Sony Six HD for IPL....Poor Tatasky ...they are trying maximum to satisfy there customers.,,

not poor, playing a game with customer,
max HD will not be available for this season and IPL's HD version is only on sony six HD.
Now question is that if tata sky able to add six HD, then there is no intention to add new channels from Gsat[they already known that they are able to launch another HD channels before launching of mtune. Ts is confident that they are not lag behind in channels [according to CEO]. So we cant except more channels in near future, may be Gsat 10 is ready to use but ts want to rate money.
How? I can explain. Now they are providing 12 HD channels with access fee. In 410+100 we getting all channels with HD, if they add more channels, but no chance to hike in packie price. So ts is playing a game with customer. Now i am 1000% sure that ts will not use Gsat and will not add more than 10 channels. Because they added crap channels earlier but not good channels like mastii and many more.

Manay experts calculated many things and stated that Tatasky cant add channels . No one was right about TS Prediction. Still Tatasky adding channels although slowly but now concentrating on Southern states . I think many more to come but very slowly untill they get a TP Space.
I think tatasky will not add channels like D2H or Dish TV even they get TP Space. They will utilize the space very carefully. U know most of the TATASKY SD users r happy and getting Most of their favourite channels.
Outside DTH world is totally differant from Forum world. Every DTH concentrates on what happens outside Internet/forum . They r getting many thing from there only.

Ans is simple when they were struggling with 8 channels, they had bandwidth. Now also they are struggling but they have bandwidth. When they will have bandwidth then also they will struggle. They straight away launched sony hd on launch day. More than space issue they are counting on total revenue gain otherwise they could have hired foreign tp or gone to mpeg4 long back. Hard to imagine that a dth will wait for 5 yrs for isro. Access free is another indication of their plans to go slow. And if they are growing even after having less hd channels why would they worry?

Well as i feel TS will not loose much revenue even if they add HD Channels. If any one wants to get SIX HD then they has to subscribe SD Version of SIX and that will cost them Rs 37/- . Users like me r not subscribed to SIX and i have to buy the SIX for Rs 37/- thats the benefitte TS is getting.

From a year ago tata sky want a back up satellite, now they know, they have a back up if something goes wrong on insat 4a hence they are using all space of insat 4a and i think they are able to add 2 HD and some sd channels.
Tata sky will add those channels which are highly demanded [cant sustain without them like sony six sport ] and highly carries fee paying channels like news x, food food [even more than dd direct.]

Cricket is the most watched sport in India though do not think IPL ratings are as high as they were in the initial year for me a HD channel just for IPL is waste of money and I love to hve the new HBO HD channels even if they mean paying extra again thats my opinion

Samirji you are right , IPL is a big bore now and its very difficult to sit through nearly 75 T 20s spread over nearly 50 days ... But India is a cricket loving nation, I too am a big fan so TS in all probability is making way for Six HD , also TS in previous seasons has squeezed in setmax hd last minute so if they have space left then 1000% they will add this channel ....
