Former WWE wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, better known by his ring name 'The Great Khali', suffered a severe head injury during the Continental Wrestling Entertainment show at Haldwani, Uttarakhand, according to reports.
Khali, who was crowned the World Heavyweight Champion in 2007, sustained a head injury on Wednesday night during the first show of The Great Khali Returns Serieswhile fighting against international wrestlers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Gaula Par.
According to SportsKeeda, Khali was attacked by international wrestlers Mike Knox and Brody Steel as part of the plan. However, things went horribly off-script as he was bleeding and genuinely hurt after being knocked on the head with a steel chair.
