Oh , In that case only Sathyam Cinemas might be showing " The Hobbit " in 48 fps. Few Week Back I had read about it and no other theater was named .

the frame rate is 48 fps, double the current frame rate.

so far all the movies are in 24fps and the hobbit is shot on 48 fps. To see this film you need a special projectors which sathyam cinemas installed for this movie.
