My question is are those channels are really HD except logo ?

BTW I don't think upgrading old prints in HD helps anyway to get sharp PQ, as far i believe more then 80% peoples watch HD channels only because of PQ only.

MGM was available in Upscaled HD at dishtv if I am not wrong.

for HD viewing it doesn't bother where it is old content or new.remastred technology should be good then you can watch old movies also with good PQ with good sound.By the way MGM HD is a true HD.No upscaling is there.
