More than 91% students cleared higher secondary or Class 12 board examinations, conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE), the results of which were declared on Tuesday.

Aarathi V and Jeshwanth KH of Sri Vidya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Krishnagiri and Chatriya Kavin DJ of Chennai’s Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary School shared the first rank in the Class 12 exams. The trio scored 1195 out of 1200 marks.

Pavithra G of Shree Niketan Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Tiruvallur and Shruti S of Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary secured the second rank with a score of 1194.

Samritha K of Vimal Jyothi Convent Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Saravanampatty in Coimbatore, Naveen G of Bharathi Vidya Bhavan in Erode and Nivedita N of Kancheepuram’s New Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School shared the third rank with a score of 1193.
