Dear Videocon d2h users, have u noticed that in last few weeks picture quality has deteriorated on many channels. There is too much pixalation on many channels. I have seen that in Max 2, Mix, 9XM, Movies OK and most other channels picture is full of pixels , specially in fast motion scenes the screen is full of pixels and nothing is clearly viewable. Any one else facing this issue? This is happening in most channels, why is Videocon d2h over-compressing SD channels?

Are they trying to compress channels so that they can add new channels in those tps but due to this picture quality goes down drastically

But i'm not seeing any difference in all those channels mentioned by you ...PQ is same as was before...
For MAX 2 i would like to tell you that it may look worse because it airs old movies which are not in good quality.

I also don't seeing any changes may be dino bro you have noticed the changes as you seeing minutely and have lot of experience regarding this issue. So, I don't deny your notice may be it's pix-elating high than earlier and if that so then definitely they compressing SDs as they have some space problem issue and may some more SD channel in the pipeline to add within couple of week.

When I had raised such queries long back I was told this pixellation may appear sometime due to content received to them from Broadcaster end.

Max2 is not available on Tata Sky but as I can see there is pixellation sometimes on 9XM but that's not so noticeable unless I go close to the screen and review with this angle

9XM and MTunes are the only channels I tune to, for watching music videos. Because of their 16:9 ratio for most of the videos.
