Sony has been sleeping for a while. they were about to launch SAB TV in HD which is also pending. But 2013 will see atleast 15-20 more HD channels. Broadcasters too understand the space issue, hence they are delaying the HD launch.

Removal of anyone of them won't effect a lot. But Travel XP is worth to be added back.

This is my guess.As UTV stars isn't a good channel.And 3D channel is their own exclusive channel.
