Thats a reason TS is growing in Metro Cities as rural people don't like VAS kinda things.
Yes, urban people are ready to pay some extra for quality but now ts really sucking. In rural area one point is also important for dish tv, that is signal of free dish. Yesterday my neighbour brought dish tv and he prefer dish tv over d2h only for to avail signal of free dish without any activity after recharge over. I saw many people choosing dish tv only for this reason.
as per news i got few days back from a tata sky dealer that tata sky is going to launched 3 tuner + 1 b dvr in this diwali
Going by Tata Sky standards, price of this DVR would be in excess of 12K or atleast 10K

its the upgrade version of current dvr
currently dvr having 2 tuner and 500 gb capicity
and upgrade version will have 3 tuner and 1 tb capicity
3 tuners means we will able to record 3 programs at one time
