Gemini news is a loss venture for Sun Network.it is coming as a combo pack in Any DTH or Cable.So that is DTH wish wheather they have to broadcast or not.

Nope.1o TV management is entirely different and there is no relation with Sun Network.it is Dish TV allotment TV 10 and Gemini news coming in one LCN.

I think There is no viewer ship for Gemini news and Both gemini and TV 10 giving carry fee.That is the reason Dish TV giving both channels in one LCN.If 10TV will get viewership Gemini News will remove and 10 TV will occupy full time.
10 TV news doing aggressive marketing and I heard management also very strong in media circles.10 TV is added in almost all the local cables in entire Andhra pradesh. So it is DTHs time.soon we will see this channel in ADTV and d2h also.

gemini news is there for name sake as it was one of the early entrant in the genre. After many political backup channels have started to air it fell back.

One thing is clear that is every DTH facing heat of space crunch. So doing this type of work. [asiasat is not good choice for SD users, and dish tv management knows this fact very well]. All DTH demanding open sky policy, lets see what happen.:..........

DTH operators are demanding for open sky in terms of space but our govt is giving them back only assurance and failed satellites. It very unfortunate that India being such a bigger market is still relying and growing on satellite of other countries.
