Frankly speaking ADTV is doing a nice job. The moment they add Infotainment HD channels they will be king because ADTV offers excellent pq n aq. Advance hd dvr with supreme hw n sw. Good packages n soon we may see flurry of new hd channels. Still 1 tp is unused on ses 7. Every reason to cheer.

Everyone is learning the Tata SKy art to compress and create space, When RDTV can do this why not ADTV.

Tata Sky have TP's with each having capacity of 36 Mhz
Videocon and Airtel have TP's with each having capacity of 54 Mhz
So in all each TP of Videocon and Airtel can carry 50 % more chs than Tata Sky.
Tata Sky has 12 TP's, Videocon has 10 and Airtel has 11 TP's
So Airtel and Videocon though hav less TP's but they many times more space than TS.
Also each company keep reserve TP space, now that airtel will get SES9 soon so they will add more chs from old TP's using reserve space too. Tata Sky too will have ample space now, just wait till HD+ STB's get updated and channels will flow
