Breaking News TV5 MONDE channel to be added today in ADTV !!

Yipeee! My wish is being fulfilled. Well, i want to tell you a secret now, i have written many mails to International Channels like TV5Monde, ITV Choice, Australia Plus, NHK World, Al Jazeera for its addition on Videocon d2h and Airtel Digital platform. Infact TV5 Monde Team has been in continuos touch with me over Facebook through mesages for last 2 years and i have been requesting them to get TV5 Monde Asie added on Airtel and Videocon. They had promised be few days back that TV5 Monde Asie will be added by this year end and we are working on it and finally they have fulfilled the promise. I was also intouch with airtel and got my channel list forwarded to content team, out that airtel has added many channels. Have had long conversations for hours with airtel and its bearing fruit , told them all prod and cons as to how they can increase customer base by adding different genres of channels and how it attracts customers as they get to taste different programming. Now i hope other channels to which i have written and communicated with many times over the last many years to get added.

I can give you a long list of channels to which i had written to through facebook, twitter (to channel and channel heads/presidents of the concerned bradcaster), mails to senior people in different channels , sent feedback thru icons on websites of diff channels and many of the channels have been added from that list on Airtel and Videocon platform. I had even written to Indiacast president for addition of MTV Indies, CNBC Bajaar and ETV Regional Channels on Videocon d2h platform and 2 got added. I have written to numerous channels through different mediums and that too after every few months so that something is done.

Regarding TV5 Monde Asie i got positive response through diff mediums like mail, facebook etc. but for other International Channels like ITV Choice, Australia Plus, NHK World they haven't replied even once through any mediums. I have written to all through twitter, facebook, to e-mail id's mentioned on website, to channel heads through twitter.


I have even written to Bigot Yves of TV5 Monde, Mr. Anuj Gandhi of Indiacast, Mr. Rahul Johri of Discovery, Debaprita Banerjee of Fox International Channels too for the addition of their channels on Videocon and Airtel. Oh yes, i have written to Miss Monica Tata of HBO Premium too. I can go on and on as i have written to so many people in different channels through different mediums..

All i can say is it all pays when you write to channels and channels heads apart from writing to DTH operator. I have felt this myself. For TV5 Monde Asie u can give the credit to me and i am not lying bcoz i had told them i don't have Dish TV and will never buy it mentioning the issues in Dish TV so they called off deal with Dish TV and signed it with Airtel, hopefully next will be Videocon. Wait n Watch.

I have all the replies mails from different channels/channels heads/distributors, tweets from senior people in different channels and channels themselves and hundreds of facebook replies, wish i could share it with you all. I am not lying, Ram Ji ki Kasam. Lot of hard work gone into it and all is finally paying off, i am soooooo happy

In fact I am also much more interested in these foreign channels. I always see Al Jazeera, NHK World, TV5 Monde, DW Asia, CCTV, Channels Euro News, Arirang & Channels News Asia.

The very purpose of having an additional Digital Cable is only for these International Channels. I get all of them in the most basic packs :)

Absolutely i too had Hathway Digital Cable till last year specifically bcoz of International Channels, Local Channels like Delhi Aaj Tak, Total TV, Tez, Many Religious Channels and Local Cable Movie Channels but i got it disconnected as was firstly not happy wit uneven audio levels across all channels which caused inconvenience plus Family did not agree to pay for DTH and Cable Both. Well since last many years i have been writing to all these channels to get them added on Airtel and Videocon. Have DTH right now as it gives equal audio levels across all channels, gives many HD channels, has proper service plus Picture is better than Digital Cable but yes still i miss Digital Cable bcoz of the flurry of channels they give.

Airtel is slowly adding the channels i want so i will dump all other and stay with them if they continue like this. Its a headache for me to change wires, STB's to change the connection every 6 or 8 months as i use 3 different DTH by swapping them
