Discussion Types of STB Softwares used by DTH/Digital Cable

Hi Guys, I dint get a proper section to post this hence I am posting it here.

Which are the different types of STB software's and encryption system that are used by our Digital Cable/DTH STB ???

I like NDS most as its the best and easy to use.

Which are the different types of NDS software's and its encryption system available, and which is the latest version ???

I am asking this as I have no knowledge of the same, and wish to keep myself updated

As far as i know,
ADTV and TS are both using NDS softwares with videoguards.

Yeah but in NDS also there are different versions ??? Tike TS and ADTV don't look the same

NDS in TS SD and TS HD look differnet. And also Vd2h 4K STB also uses NDS

So I want to know the diferent types of NDS firmwares
