Videocon D2H HD Updates Require on HBO Premium HD Channels.Is DEAL betn HBO & d2h done?

No HD channel is coming until new transponder is allocated and d2h will not get any new transponder until Tata Sky gets it TP.
So, only thing possible is the SD version of these channels. And bhaskarkilli has already shared that discussion between HBO and d2h has taken place.

Well any exact dates on getting Videocon D2h the TP..???
And If the TP space is the only reason or problem in adding any HD channels then How come D2h earlier planned to add 40 audio LCNs ...which is shared by you...?? Dont you think so here will be space problem come into picture...?
There could be another way by which they can add/accomodate atleast 2 HD channels ( or HBO HD so) by replacing their own 3D channel and CNBC Prime HD- upopular channels...(or by removal of 3 SD channels which they have done already) thus space for 2 HD channels can be allocated and wont be a bgi deal for them if they really think in Favor of CUSTOMERS..SO..by adding new channels...

Why would they add those channels which will increase the financial burden of people. 3D is their own channel, so it can be removed but how can they remove CNBC. It not a play thing bro. Chanel agreement happen on yearly or longer period. Neither DTH operator nor broadcaster can violate it. It a professional world.
Regarding 40 audio channel, it's a mere internal movement and no extra bandwidth would be required.

Adding HD or SD Channels r totally belongs to d2h Authority as all know .I think now D2H is in trouble after adding many less popular channels to compete with Dish TV or other DTH Ops. now they have to manage both existing channel contracts and new contracts for adding new channels. surely they will go for 4 SD Channels instead of 1 HD channel. Actually they r getting more popular in SD Section rather than HD sections .HD sections have a limitations compared to SD surely , even though they have 22 HD Channels i think they r getting more worries in SD section as i think . i may be wrong .

Perfectly said sir. Not only d2h, but all DTH operators are worrying with the count. TRAI has made it mandatory for digital cable operators to carry 500 channels. So, all DTH are trying to figure out and reach that count faster than cable.
So, at this stage they want to make SD viewers happy and even the HD ones. By adding all popular and high rated channel in HD, they already have captured the HD customers mind. Now the game of count is going on between all operators.

Agree to both of you that promoting SD services is the major goal of D2h and other DTH in current circumstances....So they will have to plan accordingly on SD and HD channels addition...!!
But my dear friends you are forgetting one thing here,... being customer I would always demand for the Quality and Quantity(in therms of popular HD & SD channels) as there was huge price hike done by D2h recently without addition of any popular channels for last 6 months...now its their turn to act in favor of customers....!!!
I still dont understand how canI constantly pay more than 2-3 months without any quality services added to my D2h account ...which still we are doing as customer now.....!!
Customer comes first and thus it will become as I/P for future plans of any DTH operator in terms of profit and popularity...So again they have to deliver and act as agn I/P to next level....Cycle continues in respect of both personalities...!!!
