At Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting on Monday over the terror attack in Uri, the mood was sombre and grim. It was clear to the top ministers that the PM was very shaken and determined to hit back. But it was also clear that an immediate strike or any kneejerk reaction was not the way out.
Surprisingly, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was not a part of the meeting, but the word afterwards was that she would be the aggressive face of India at the UN General Assembly in New York on September 26.
Sources have exclusively told CNN-News18 the tone and content of Swaraj's speech. On Uri, she will mince no words and will highlight Pakistan's role in it as also in the Pathankot killings earlier.
This apart, the obvious and clear patronage given to Hafeez Sayeed and Dawood Ibrahim by Pakistan will be raised. And that the unrest in Kashmir is because of meddling by Pakistan.
