Government should bring a regulation that new channel licences should only be given if there is some different content otherwise channels like Movies OK are launched or say Star Sports 2 are launched just to gain more money and play same content as they play on old channels. Ultimately we have to pay more, brands have to spend more on ads and then we pay more for buying the various products as brands have to vasool all the speding they did on ads

That's not possible. Almost half of the content being aired on Indian Television are repeated content. But there is a way to present repeat content too.

Movies Now has shown Rocky 100 times in last one year but every time they show, they advertise it in such a way that its premiering for 1st time.

These things lack in UTV World Movies, MGM etc channels. Both these channels looks like dull channels .

Problem is that not only Broadcasters are grabing money from sponsership but they're increasing the price tag too in this case its a win - win situation for only braodcasters and we users are suffering.

Indianmascot bro, well i credit Movies Now for revolutionizing the English Movie Genre in India, they have no Parent International Movie Studio backing like Star had F20th Century Fox or Sony had Columbia, Sony Pictures. Before launching Movies Now went to 20th Century Fox and signed a deal, they brought these movies on tv right from gone old era to new movies which other movies channels had just forgotten, later they started deals with Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures etc. When Movies Now became hit all these other English Movie channels started showing such movies. Till now Movies Now hardly shows any World Television Premiere bcoz of no Parent Movie Studio but they air very good movies.Their way of presentation is top notch plus they do not edit that much.

Also i can tell u one trivia, before Sony launched Sony Pix all Sony Pictures/Columbia Pictures produced movies came on HBO and HBO had an output deal with Viacom 18, Universal, Miramax, Sony and many other studio. Now since Movies Now came all movies channels air movies from different studio, they share movie library and all credit goes to Movies Now

Arre bhai there are even i guess people sent by Zee on Videocon d2h Facboo Page, they use Fake ID's and keep demanding Zee Premiere, Zee Action whic air ultra flop movies.

All in all i am happy with Videocon d2h, they add new SD and HD channels very fast, they r economical, social media team is great which helps customer solve issues. Having used Tata Sky and Airtel too, i can safely say they are far away from Videocon d2h interms of customer satisfaction. Tata Sky is just good at marketing , they just make good ads, start interactive services , add Premium channels and increase prices, all this way they keep giving excuses of bandwidth constraint which goes on for ages. Also Videocon d2h does not have fight with any broadcaster like Dish TV has frequently, touch wood
