No, sound is coming actually high with good bass effect. just one thing to note is we can't decrease volume by d2h remote..if we want to low volume then we have to do it with TV remote

one thing I've noticed is there is low volume problem in Star cricket HD in Dolby mode. Normal sound is full with good bass but Dolby is very low with no bass...Otherwise other all HD channels' dolby sound is great...and we don't need dolby in watching cricket of course.
