I can understand your emotions towards d2h bro but i don't think Indian's are so fool that exact 1000 of them would have booked upcoming boxes without knowing the price and specifications.
This may happen only when d2h would have outcalled their 4K TV buyers and provided them information's secretly.

d2h should have done it all together before TS this time..however 4K Price tag won't digest to people easily at start hence ..delayed by purpose..!!!

Unless i experience both the 4K box from Tata Sky and d2h, it would be difficult to decide which one is better.
But i feel that both companies are launching their 4K boxes best among their existing products.

so the first 1000 booked would get cut in the price and also the ad says it is the limited edition 4k stb.
Agree to certain point ...however few techi people will jump on this who waits for new technology..
And remember one thing there is change going to happen in Compression technology:H.265:HEVC which will be supported by these 4K boxes..!!
Old boxes compatibility over HEVC will be provided by d2h offcourse but it will be having less efficiency with the limited h/w.
May be HD cusotmer can demand exchange of new M-STAR SOC integrated Boxes once those are available..!!!!
