MStar Semiconductor, Inc., a leading semiconductor company for display and digital home solutions, today announces its successful mass production of HD MPEG-4 DVB-S2 set-top box with Videocon d2h, Asia’s most promising DTH brand & India’s fastest growing DTH service provider. The new set-top box is capable of processing high quality “Asli” HD channels and bringing premium content to subscribers. This new HD set-top box with MStar’s latest technology provides premium video and audio qualities while maintaining effective overall system cost.
Additionally, the new set-top box powered by MStar Semiconductor, Inc. enables a revolutionary way of watching TV channels through following functions: title/time based recording, rewind & forward functions, auto serial recording, pause live TV and mark-skip-watch functions. Users can now utilize the new features to either enjoy recorded content or seek a certain part of recorded content.
