I too have the same question. If we can watch 1080p on a 720p TV then why can't we watch 2160p on a 1080p TV .

Each TV set will have what’s called its native resolution. This basically means that a 1080p set is better at displaying 1080p HD broadcasts.Both, Upscale or Downscale surely decrease the PQ,actually distort the originality of the picture.

Khera says price would come down to 6-8k ...of course it will as d2h as usual will start their cheap laggy out of ram STBs at home

I was also hoping so ...but the statement of downfall of price to around 6-8k makes me think that those 4k stbs also would be laggy...
