Yes this version does not include Bluetooth or Wifi integration.

I was able to notice only an enhance GUI

I don't see any improvement in the picture quality even though I upgraded from DID 3 to DID14

Have others got the DID 14 OTA update (over the air automatic update via stream)

Videocon D2H tech support is garbage. It does not update by itself and there don't have an option to do a OTA Forced Options like some providers. So we have to do a manual upgrade via USB or pay Rs 200 and get a fool from Videocon (who by the way calls himself an Engineer) to do a manual update. Most of the time to so called Engineer (fool) can not do an update and they swap the STB and charge you for the STB as well.

I am thinking of getting Tata Sky HD. How is the picture quality

Never ever think of buying tatasky,..go for dish tv.i too use videocon d2h 2244 hd box.

What is the Current Download ID for HD 3333-RF Receiver?
My DID is 22 and has been on 22 for a long time

I am having the following issues with my HD 3333-RF STB
1) If I unplug the receiver and plug it after few hours I get a message saying Invalid Smart Card
2) I have to factory reset 2 times to bypass this problem
3) HDMI port does not work sometimes so I have to use RCA cables but starts working again after a while

Although I agree with you and there is a very high likelihood of some kind of hardware failure I first want to rule out any software bugs. Hence I need to know the latest DID.

Is there a way to backup the installed Firmware in a USB pen drive in my Videocon HD 3333-RF Receiver?

My HD 3333 STB DID has been on 22 for a long time or I want to downgrade to DID 14 by flashing it manually and then waiting to see if the firmware gets updated (upgraded) to the latest version via OTA update

What is the latest DID for HD 3333-RF STB?

My HD3333 RF STB is currently on DID 22.

I get Smartcard validating Error if I UN-PLUG power in the night and put it back in the morning. I have to factory reset 2 or 3 times to make it work again so it is pain.

Hence I want try and see what happens when I update to a higher DID or roll back to lower DID
