You Can Buy Any DTH
But Check Their Higher Packs Also
In Tata Sky If You Want All Available HD Channel Expect Premium Channels Cost Is Like This
Rs.430 Grand Sports Pack + Rs.125 HD Fee= Rs.555 (With 18 HD)
Where You Dont Get Ten HD And Other 3 Ten Network Channels
Have To Pay Rs.85 Extra

About Dish TV
In Their Highest Pack Rs.600
You Will Get Around 23 HD Channels With Out SSHD1,SSHD2
Note That In Dish Tru HD Customers Can NOT Choose SD Packs
Recently Many IndiaCast Channels Are Removed From Packages
I Think Now Colors HD Also Removed From Package As Its Indiacast Channel

I agree that rs.40 is huge for platinum hd users whereas it is rs.4 for other pack users for SS2 additon.
HBO premium channels too would be available only as add on hereafter and the only reason i bought d2h was package price. If it there is further increase then i would also opt other service providers.

Regarding dish, it's future is bleak as it locks horn with several content providers esp after indiacast fiasco and star sports management.

My mail to D2H customer care and CEO Anil Khera.

Greetings,


This mail is in regard to Price Hike of Rs. 40 for the Platinum HD subscribers after the addition of Star Sports 2 is totally unacceptable under any circumstances as its a very steep hike for a single channel addition.


Requesting you to roll back the Price hike and put SS2 under Ala carte pack so who so ever wish to subscribe it they can subscribe and not force it on Platinum HD subscriber only.


If at all there will be Price Hike than much demanded and expecting HD channel additions from D2h end for which i had forwarded my suggestions along with demanded channels list to customer care many times before without even an acknowledgement from them.


The unprofessional attitude of the Customer care Proves that D2H has to learn and go a long way before becoming a true reckoning force in the DTH world when they cant even teach there Customer care of replying to any customer query.


The channel List which we can anticipate after the Price hike if at all D2H can justify it are:


1. Al Jazeera English.

2. Russia Today.

3. CCTV news.

4. Fox Traveller HD.

5. BABY TV HD.

6. NGC WILD HD.

7. NGC Music HD & SD too.

The pointer i have made above is very important for D2H to consider otherwise me and many other subscribers will opt out of D2H for surely and will go for another DTH Player.


Now the ball is in D2H court to either listen to customers or ignore them for there any good reason but if they dont listen to them than the D2H has to pay the ultimate price by not only loosing the customer but a sharp decrease in there ARPU which will ultimately affect there own Growth plans.


I sincerely trust that Mr. Anil is himself a genius to analyze all the Prons and Cons of the Price hike and ultimately he will take a better decision for all the people involved in it the Customer and the Company.


Will be glad if i'll get any fruitful reply from the D2H side.
