But for 5 years according to the article so next year there contract will be over it may be renew. But personally I think Videocon TVs are not so bad as a fan boy of Videocon TV I always carry second opinion about their product so only product I don't like about Videocon is DDB TV.

My first TV was national TV that my dad bought it and then Sony crt TV both which had lifetime of 15 years. in 2008 i bought Sony LCD bravia which is fine still now.

In other appealing TV brand I would like to name "Panasonic" Plasma n "Toshiba" TV-LCD

My dad gave us opportunity to experience Ramyan-Mahabharat in early child edge on "Dynora" B/W TV brand.
Next was Videocon Flatron by them n sister.Dad also ensured me Desktop PC-P4 even it was bit assembled costly at completion of my engg.

Philips TV comes under Philips Electronic India Limited and that subsidary is under Videocon.

Remaining all with Philips.

i didnt had the opportunity of watching in black and white TV as national was color with 6 channels that too have be changed with easily breakable tuner

I also got opportunity to watch Black / White TV even in my home and in my Grand Father's Home he owned a Shutter Type TV don't know brand atleast I live those TVs :tongue:
