It's very natural that price will be hiked after the hangover of HD channels hike.

I know , what I meant was now d2h is no very active and aggressive as before even after having suffient space they are still not adding pending HD channel's, which were launched ages back!

So let's see how many months does it take d2h to add the pending and new HD Channels and if at all they manage to add all the HD Channels then only price hike can be justified else I'm sure most of us will move to Tata sky or Dish TV.

I'm looking at d2h from the point of view of Dish TV.

I cannot compare d2h with Reliance, Sun Direct or Airtel.

Reason : These DTH were never in the race of HD Channel's!

D2h was NO.1 DTH provider advertising having Maximum HD Channel's compared to anyone in India.

D2h was very aggressive and fast in channel addition but now that's History as Dish and Tata are more active and d2h is lacking behind.

Later It was overtaken by Dish TV and we all thought now it will rise up but that hope was again smashed when Tata took the No.2 spot from d2h in HD Channel's!

Now d2h has fallen from No.1 to No.3 Hence looking at the past of d2h, it's but obvious that everyone will compare d2h with Dish and Tata, because d2h cannot afford to be now at No.4 from No.1!

No you can't compare them because Dish is profit making company and d2h is still struggling to achieve break-even.

They have got cheaper and abundant bandwidth along with bigger base. So for them cracking deal and additional isn't that tough as d2h.

We all knew that they have already acquired 2 new TP. So let's wait as they not gonna waste the TP space and will surely try to earn most out of it to repay it back to DoS
