Videocon Telecom has announced on Wednesday that the company is offering double data benefits to its subscribers. The offer will be valid on all standard data packs by default.
However, the catch here is that the double data benefit will be applicable at night hours(12:00 AM to 7:00 AM) on all the data packs starting from Rs. 13 to Rs. 251, offering bundled data of 120 MB to 3GB respectively.
“Data is the growth engine for the telecom industry, and it is imperative that there is enough and more traction on data offerings for customer engagement. Our double data offer is an initiative in the same direction. We are confident that this initiative will help us accelerate our data growth,” Arvind Bali, Director and CEO, Videocon Telecom, said. “Now if a customer has subscribed to 1 GB data pack, he or she can use another 1 GB during night hours which is starting midnight to 7 AM without paying extra money.
