Tamil Vijay in Jilla - Box office - 100 th day

Vijay's introductory fight sequence in Jilla is being shot currently at Chengalpet, under the supervision of stunt master Silva. This realistic sequence would be shot over the next 3 or 4 days.

Meanwhile Mohanlal's final schedule for the film will begin in Pollachi, towards the end of this month on November 25. This schedule will again last for about 3 to 4 days.

On the songs front, one number featuring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal will be shot in a Chennai set, in the first week of December.

The shoots of Jilla, as you can read, are going on continuously at various places without any break for the crew.

Jilla is the first Tamil film to be shot here – Nesan

Director Nesan has said that a song for Jilla was shot at the Fushimi Inari Buddha temple in Japan. Interestingly, this temple is located right on top of a hill and the visualisation of this song has come out exceptionally well, said the director.

He also added that only one Hollywood film has been shot in this place till now and Jilla happens to be the next. According to this debut director, Jilla will be a visual treat for the audience, especially this song, which has been filmed in the exotic location.

Jilla distribution rights sold

The distribution rights of Jilla for the Trichy and Coimbatore areas have been sold for a huge price. While Boss Films have procured the rights for the Trichy area, it is Cosmo Siva for the Coimbatore city.

Jilla’s shooting is fast nearing completion and the distributors are eager to lay their hands on this Vijay starrer which is due to hit the screens on January 10th, 2014.

Scarlett Wilson to groove with Vijay in # Jilla

British model turned actress, Scarlett Wilson has
bagged yet another biggie in South Indian film
industry. After grooving with the likes of Pawan
Kalyan and Ram Charan in Telugu, the actress has
now been chosen for a special song in Vijay’s
upcoming Tamil film, Jilla. The song will soon be
shot on Scarlett and Vijay in Hyderabad.
Ever since she appeared in the song, Imported
Kamariya in Shanghai, she has been one of the
most sought after actress for item numbers and
she has also danced in a bunch of songs in Telugu.
In recent times, she had appeared in Hindi films like
Bajatey Raho and her latest song, Kaddu Katega
from Prabhu Deva’s R…Rajkumar has caught
people’s attention. No wonder, the actor is quite
happy with the way things are going for her on her
career front. “I love dancing and I’m glad that I
have been getting a chance to work with some of
the best actors, choreographers and directors in the
industry. I can’t wait to shoot for Jilla and it’s my
