Leaked pictures taken on the sets of Vijay's Jilla recently revealed Vijay dressed up as a Muslim with long robe and dense facial hair. This has given rise to talks about him playing a Muslim in the movie. However, sources reveal that Vijay's role in the get up is only brief and he does not sport the look in the entire movie.

Directed by RT Nesan, Jilla has Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. Mohanlal plays a prominent role in the movie that is produced by RB Choudary for his banner Super Good films. Touted to be a Pongal release, Jilla's shooting is underway.

Mohanlal makes me feel talkative - Vijay :

"He is the superstar of the Malayalam film industry. But his humble nature and silence has inspired me", says actor Vijay, who has been shooting for Jilla after working on a hectic schedule for Thalaivaa. Vijay elaborated on his working experience with Lalettan, in a recent interview.


"Everyone knows that I am a silent person myself, but Mohanlal’s amiability and soft character makes me feel that I am the talkative person among the two of us. I have been having back to back shooting schedules and it is really tiring. But working with Mohanlal has indeed been a pleasant experience. He is humble, subtle and good to be with. I spend a lot of time with him during shoots and we share a lot of experiences. There is a lot of character in the person".


A few weeks back, there were images circulated around, featuring Vijay standing beside Mohanlal, who is busy cooking up a dish. Ilayathalapathy doesn't forget to mention about the culinary skills of his co-star "He is a good cook too. He invited me to his house for a treat of his own cooking. I must say, his culinary skills are deliciously outstanding"

Vijay’s ‘Jilla’ has been progressing at a brisk pace. The fourth schedule of the film was supposed to start today. However, the shooting got cancelled due to heavy rain. The movie is directed by Nesan. Kajal Agarwal plays the leading lady in the film. She is teaming up with Vijay after ‘Thuppakki’. Mohanlal and Mahat Raghavendra play important roles in the film.
