According to the latest buzz, Sridevi, who will be seen as a queen in Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Puli has been asked to act in a lip lock scene in the movie. It is also speculated that Sudeep of Naan Ee fame will be seen as Sridevi's pair in that particular scene.
Whether Sridevi has given her nod to go ahead with the scene is still not known, according to sources. Everything regarding the film has been kept under wraps so far including Vijay's looks and yet vital conjectures pertaining to Puli has never failed to cease.
Earlier, it was said that Sudeep will be portraying the role of a commander, but the latest news that's been doing rounds has it that he will be playing a king in the movie and that he is paired opposite Sridevi.
According to another interesting piece of information, Sridevi's pay cheque for Puli is said to be much fatter than that of Shruti Haasan or Hansika's remuneration. With each passing day, Puli's roar is getting bigger and louder thus increasing its anticipation among fans.
The film will also mark Sridevi's comeback in Tamil after 29 years as her last straight Tamil film was Naan Adimai Illai in 1986 opposite Superstar Rajinikanth which was directed by Dwarkish.
Meanwhile, Sony music has bagged the audio rights for the Vijay starrer and hence it is expected that the film's music will be taken beyond many boundaries. It is also confirmed that the music rights was acquired for a hefty price. Devi Sri Prasad has composed tunes for this film and is being directed by Chimbu Deven.

If given a prominent role, Puli might be Nandita's big break to take her career forward in Kollywood. She is currently awaiting the release of Idam Porul Yaeval and is also working in Radha Mohan's Uppu Karavaadu.
