Atlee directed Vijay 59 is yet to be christened but speculations may be put to rest soon. From a trustworthy source, the film can possibly be titled as ‘Khaki’.

Vijay’s films are known for their disyllabic catchy titles and on the lines of Kaththi and Puli, here comes Khaki. Touted to be a police story, the team is considering Khaki as their prime choice but with a title issue to be sorted out too. After the issues are settled, the final confirmation about the title will be made from the camp.

If Khaki is the title, then wait for a fearsome design too. The first look launch is planned for Diwali, as reported earlier.

Amy Jackson joined the sets of Vijay’s 59th film few days back. She joined the team after wrapping up her upcoming film ‘Gethu’ with director Kris Thirukumaran. The film is nearing its end stages and it is yet to receive its tile. We hear that soon the film will get its title.

According to reports, the lead actor of the Atlee directorial, Vijay has requested the makers to treat his fans on the occasions of Diwali. The team of ‘Vijay 59’ will be looking to release the first look poster of the film along with the teaser and title. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the news. The news has got the Illayathalapathy fans excited.

Reportedly, the makers are considering three titles for the flick. Out of ‘Khakhi’, ‘Moondru Mugam’, and ‘Vetri’, makers are preferring ‘Khakhi’, as it suits the storyline. The film has been bankrolled by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and also features Samantha.

Earlier, the first look poster along with the official title of Vijay’s 59th film, was expected to be released on the 10th of November as a gift to Vijay fans for this Diwali.

When we spoke to our sources close to the 'Vijay 59' camp, we heard that the first look poster will not be unveiled for Diwali, but a week after. We also hear that the title Khaki is almost confirmed. Let us wait for the official communication in this regard.

The team has been shooting in Chennai till now, and the makers have plans to go outdoor (location not fixed) after the 15th of November. As reported earlier the film's shoot is about 70% done.
