Indian boxing star Vijender Singh will fight his next bout on April 2 in London.

Vijender blew away Hungary’s Alexander Horvath at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Saturday to record his fourth successive professional victory.

The 30-year-old will compete in an eight-round fight for Vijender Singh and his last fight was a six-rounder.

“London here I come! I can’t wait to fight at Harrow and show the London fans just what Vijender Singh is all about. I’ve fought around the country in Manchester, Dublin and Liverpool and now I’m heading to the capital for my fifth professional fight. I am aiming for fifth knockout-win in a row,” Vijender said.

He's making money leaving India's duties aside. I guess still he didn't resign from his Indian Govt. gifted Job.

He is on one year holiday and currenty the indian federation was suspended by the International boxing amateur federation

The shocking development meanwhile had also reached the boxers and Vijender Singh had a disappointing tone to his voice while speaking to NDTV.

The ace Indian boxer said,"I am really disappointed with this suspension. This is bad news for Indian sportsmen."

Vijender also said that the new boxing president was elected fairly.

Vijender said,"I want to continue representing India in future but this news will affect morale of Indian boxers."

The Beijing Olympics bronze-medallist was, however, hopeful that the issue would be resolved soon.

"The next AIBA event is quite far but hopefully we would not sit on it for too long and get the suspension revoked as soon as possible," he said.
