Viswaroopam will be releasing on direct-to-home (DTH) platform as planned earlier but it will debut in theatres first and be shown on DTH TV later.
Vishwarooopam in Tamil and Telugu will hit the theatres on 25 January but the Hindi version will be released on 1 February.
All these three versions will have their first DTH showing on 2 February."We are also deciding to bring down the cost of viewing per view.
We are also contemplating three time slots of which our viewers can choose their own time. Those who have already paid the money will be refunded by DTH companies," Kamal Hassan said in a statement.
