HELP Wants information about ultra plack

You need to pay access fee unless HD is clearly mentioned in plan name like 'Ultra Plus South HD'.
If you go with annual recharge you wouldn't have to pay HD acres fee for a year. But if you want to go monthly, 175 rupees HD access fee is needed to view HD channels.

Is annual hd free for new connections?. I talked to customer care and they have denied any such offer for me on any pack.
I don't think so. Check which Annual pack you are getting with new connection. if it has HD in the pack, then no need of HD Access Fee pack
Yes, if you take annual plan of any pack with new connection, you will get HD access free for a year.
Guys , looking for some information. I am a TataSky subscriber and my current subscription ended on April 2. Tata Sky help desk called me few days back and said they can help me recharge my pack, however they told that they no longer offer Grand Sports annual package which is what I took when I opted for 1 year annual subscription last year when I got the TS connection. The good thing was it also included annual HD subscription fee at that point of time. Now the help desk person has confirmed they don't offer it any further and if I want all channels I need to go for annual ultra pack plus HD access fee which comes somewhere around 8000. My question is instead of paying 8000 if I opt for a new connection of Rs 6570, which one of the forum members has posted above, is there any clause from Tata Sky that will restrict me in doing so?
