EntMnt Xclusive what are the preparations doing DTHs to face Digitalization?

d2h is too having lots of space but they need to procure it. After Anthrix deal scam, ISRO is very much hesitating to poke into more such deal .

ST2 is having huge number of Tps and I am sure d2h would have made a intelligent deal. Unlike Dish TV, d2h require is MPEG4 DVBS2 technology which have an advantage of adding more channels in lesser TP space.

Regarding HD channels, d2h is already heading and will keep adding more and more HD channels. So, it would be a neck-neck competition .

But Tata Sky and ADTV too must have something planned to compete these 2 operators.

Dont compare ADTV with Tata sky.tata sky nothing to do now unlike they has to increase their space.ADTV has enough TPs to add more channels.Only problem is ADTV marketing team thinking something reverse to face digitalization

Regarding Chennai, No DTH will be able to poke into Cable TV Subscribers. Either SUN Direct or Arsu will take away all customers. So, I don't think any DTH operator is doing any effort there.

Its impossible Dino bhai. I too have many contacts in Tata and I can confirm you this is not happening. If anyone is saying this to you , then he is playing with your emotions.
