TS has a very deep, covert & active engagement with internet based entities........Their investmnt is very hugh on such marketing.....
Others combined efforts are not even 10 %..........
This is why Tata Sky is a useless DTH operator when it comes to fulfilling channel needs of customer or give affordable packs. They r more interested in spending lavishly on ads, marketing thru forums, social media. If u see they make ads for all things , every active service has multiple ads, then they spend crores on making ads like Prison Break, their internet marketing budget must be in Crores and they have so many production houses and actors for such ads. So much of wastage of money. Wish they were more sensible and saved on this cost, they could have given packages at lower cost and added new channels. Their CEO then proudly says that we will not add channels for carriage so inturn he just passes all this cost to customers. The less i say, the better it is. I don't consider Tata Sky a good DTH brand if marketing is kept aside
Videocon, Airtel r much better.
