Important Why Safari TV is Not Available on DTH's ??

Just now i came through the details posted by Safari TV (Malayalam) channel website. As per this article they are receiving many requests to add channel on DTH platfroms. So they are saying as DTH operators are demanding huge carriage fees to add Safari on platforms. So they are asking the customers to request for this channel to their respective service provider. If the customer demand is more, they will add it for sure.

Actually this is very good infotainment and travel channel with some pretty good contents. So let's demand DTH providers to add this channel. Hope dishtv will add this channel, once they roll out Zing Digital in Kerala.

If you are saying that its a Good channel, then DTH operators won't hesistate to deal with them.

But i think you guys remember about Sathiyam TV which is again playing all tricks with viewers and urging to presurrize on respective DTH

But reality is that they are not ready to pay carriage fee as per operators and hence operators are not adding that channel.

Some how this channel needs to pay carriage fee to DTH. Otherwise there will be no chance of this channel in any DTH.

The channel is actually good ,I am having it on my digital cable.But I think its not that popular to add it in DTH

IndianMascot bro, same situation happened with Shalom TV, Malayalam religious channel. This channel was available on most of the DTH platforms and it was not there on dishtv due to carriage fees issues. During that time Shalom TV officially announced as they were unable to add it to dishtv with the carriage fees they were asking. At last dish has added this channel without any carriage fees. This is why it's still there on dishtv.

Yes Justin Jolly bro. I know operators need carriage fee to because their transponder space is involved but they sometime demand big amounts which become infeasible for broadcater to pay.

But when money involved, no one can help.

What Safari TV team need is to crack deal with 1-2 top DTH operators by taking a hit if required for 1 year.

Then if the popularity increases, they will get support from viewers too for sustaining on thiose platforms and other DTH too will get attracted.

May be Zing Digital roll out in Kerala region will help on this. Waiting for it, meantime we can watch the contents from the website.

Right now Safari needs to crack the deal either with SUN, d2h or with airtel as all 3 having go space in Kerela, if the channel gets viewers and hits dishtv will going to add this channel for sure, I think dishtv needs to add 9X O without asking for carriage fee or with a minimal amount to crack the deal.

In present scenario when Dish TV is removing important channels, they may crack the less costly deal with Safari channel too like they cracked many regional channels and added them.
