Well, here's the logical deduction so as to why Trace Sports was added out of d blue.
Acc to the following articles, SingTel has increased its stakes in Bharti Airtel.

Clearly mentioned in the wiki site:
  • SingTel inked a deal with TRACE Sports to beef up its sports proprosition for its mio TV Service.
Now, this explains why Airtel was the first to add FOX action movies.Also, has added NGC Wild just recently. As, Singtel acquired New FOX International Channels.

This means we could see the addition of NGC adventure, Baby Tv(in place of cbbebies)

Also, we shouldnt be surprised, if we soon start to get KBS World (already on RDTV), France24 (just like we got Trace Sports out of nowhere)....which SingTel is distributing aggressively, as stated in the article.

u r wrong buddy, this article only refers that singtel has enterned partenership for fox channels gfor it mobile service
and same spplies for trace sports.
the share u r talking abt is in mobile service and not in dth service of airtel

for ur info temasek holdings, parent company of singtel owns 10 percent stake in tata sky

Yeh, Quite informative and reason could be the same but i am still not able to link co-relation of Trace channels with Fox Channels.

the article of financial express is 2 year old. So, how does it relate to current scenario.

@dino: Singtel is a telecom company having 33 % stake in Bharti Airtel, the telecom company. Airtel DTH is also a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel. It hasnt emerged on its own. Now Singtel and Trace got a deal, and since SingTel owns 33 % shares in Bharti itself, thats why Trace got added.

@IM: The wiki article says, that Singtel and Trace deals have just been finalised, under 2012 (History)
Also, the FOX deals with SingTel have been done in 2012. That 2 yr old article is just a reference of names of channels under "FOX intl channels" bouquet.

Now Singtel and FOX deals have been done in 2012, thats why I m expecting these channels soon on Airtel

@dino: Just like ADTV is a subsidiary of Bharti, Mio TV is a subsidiary of Singtel. Doesnt really matter, if its for their IPTV or DTH. All that matter is both the companies have agreement.
An agreement with ADTV means an agreement with Bharti, likewise for Singtel.

dino29 bhai, Temasek Holdings is not a parent company of Singtel. Star TV is having 20% stakes of Tata Sky out of that 20%, he has sold 10% to Temasek Holdings.

Instead Temasek have stake in Singtel along with many other international companies.

i thought Singtel has acquired an exclusive distributin of fox channels in singapore but now they are available on both services.

All said and done..... I m not saying that I m 100% correct. I neither work for Airtel nor for SingTel. :pirate:
I just deduced this following a series of articles.

Whether or not anyone buys my point is upto him/her. I wrote what I think is correct based on some proofs. Rest its upto u guys to decide. :boom:
