But I still don't get it.. Which are the other programmes that come atleast in Top 20 other than TMKOC, which airs on SAB.

By the way, there are many other programmes apart from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which airs on SAB TV and have larger viewership also, some of them are Chidiya Ghar, Badi Door Se Aaye Hai and Baal Veer apart from these there is Khidki, which I like most. Bro, there are some other shows also which I enjoyed most, they were broadcasted earlier on this channel and they also had larger viewership, some of them are Lapataganj, F.I.R., R. K. Laxman Ki Duniya, Jeannie Aur Juju, Left Right Left, Jugni Chali Jalandhar and Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, infact, I would love to see them again if they telecast these serials in HD !!
Manu bro, you might have read Arundass' post. I think, Arundass bro is right upto some extent. I agree with his views, his logics may be right, but I think now the channel has sufficient content in HD for launching the HD channel as they have been working in this regard for last two and half years i.e. for last two and half years they have been shooting their shows in High Definition, So, now they have a sufficient library of HD programming to launch a HD channel. Moreover, you all are aware of it that before launching MAX HD they have converted most of the old bollywood movies in their library into HD formate and the work is still on and we have witnessed it also as we have seen many many old movies in HD on MAX HD since the channel is launched. So, how can you think, they would have not converted all the old episodes of TMKOC into HD formate till the date, definitely they would have converted, infact they would have converted some of the popular shows' episodes also of the channel which are not running on the channel right now into HD format, as they know that they can be used as reruns and as fillers. There is no problem of HD contents, they are ready to launch as N P Singh has already said once in an interview in January last week that 'they are ready to launch SAB HD any time, but they are waiting for some clearences from MIB', so, its not like that they are lacking HD contents and thats why they are delaying the launch, Its something else, either they are working on positioning SAB HD as a different channel from what it is right now for the revenue purpose as they did with MAX HD or they are waiting for the right time for its launch, I mean, when SAB channel's TRP would be at its highest, they are working also for it as recently they have increased the prime time of their shows from three hours to three and half hours, also they have added some new shows in the weekend slots. I only want to say that its not about HD contents as they are ready with sufficient HD contents to launch the channel, but its about their strategy and plan that how and when they want to launch it !!
