I think the total size of the download depends on your current version of Windows and configuration of your laptop as well. Mine is 64 bit OS too and update is only 4.4GB

Yours seems to be the exact size what windows has said. Mine is highly inflated.

Some are saying that the update is stuck at 140 mb

These kind of things are bound to happen and million laptops would be updating today and tomorrow.
