The WWE has fired wrestler Alberto del Rio. The pro wrestling company made the announcement on its Web site Thursday using just one short sentence that noted the release was due to “unprofessional conduct and an altercation with an employee.”

While Del Rio and the WWE have kept quiet about the specifics of the altercation, the prevailing theory, as propagated by Wrestling Observer, is that Del Rio slapped a Web producer backstage after the producer allegedly made a racist joke about him. Del Rio is a third-generation Mexican wrestler. Wrestling Observer’s David Meltzer writes:

“Based on sketchy stories and what wrestlers have been talking about, at catering, somebody asked [Web producer] to clean off his plate. The person joked something along the lines of how that’s Del Rio’s job. Del Rio found out and confronted him. As the story goes, he didn’t apologize and then smiled at him, and Del Rio slapped him.”

WWE’s official website revealed that the Mexican has been let go from his contract due to “unprofessional conduct and an altercation with an employee”.

Del Rio – whose former ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez exited WWE last week – has held the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions each, while he also prevailed in the 2011 Royal Rumble match and scooped the Money in the Bank contract the same year.

The San Luis-born grappler signed for Vince McMahon’s company in 2009, before debuting on the main roster the following year and defeating Rey Mysterio in his debut match, on Smackdown.

No Bro. this is real and ADR's chapter from WWE is over, I think tats a reason Ricardo quit from WWE, all this starts when WWE screws the On Screen friendship of RR and ADR both are real life friends and not wanted to fight against each other but they were force to do that

Then when WWE decides to unified the championship reports were come that ADR is going to retire from WWE along with CM PUNK because World Championship was supposed to be his championship but he never quit though his career goes to in a big hole after unification of the title and it must be made him frustrate and angry and he seeks his opportunity to quite the company.

Good thing is that he inductee his uncle Mil Mascaras into WWE Hall of Fame during peak of his career.
