There business end after WWE Network launch otherwise every performer gets the loyalty fees from the PPV sale now every superstars signs and perform according to contract only. Hence PPV now treated as specials only not too much interesting matches assigns.

Special Event contract added to some specific Superstars Contract. Hence you noticed after WWE Network only specific numbers of Superstars are fighting in the PPVs you never expect Fandango kinda superstars in the PPV now.

Yes for more viewership they only want specific popular superstars for the ppv

Now they have nothing to do with viewership as once a guy subscribe for WWE Network he have to remain active for 6 Months so WWE knows whatever crap they shows in a PPV user have to grab it as no other option is left for him.

But good thing is he can watch thr ppv anywhere he wants with no compulsion of tv also he can watch the highlights too umpteen number of times
