#1. Heath Slater and Rhyno, The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) and Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) vs. The Ascension (Konor and Viktor), The Vaudevillains (Simon Gotch and Aiden English) and The Usos.
This was an amazing back and forth match to kick off the show. The Smackdown Tag team champions received one of the best pops of the night. Rhyno picked up the win for his team after a Gore to Jey Uso.
Result : The Hype Bros, Breezango, Heath Slater and Rhyno defeated The Ascension, The Vaudevillains and The Usos.

#2. Curt Hawkins vs. Apollo Crews

Curt Hawkins’s misrable run continued as he was involved in a blink-and-you-miss match. He made an offensive start but Apollo toned him down. Crews got the pinfall victory following a spin-out powerbomb.
Result: Apollo Crews defeated Curt Hawkins

#3. Baron Corbin vs. Jack Swagger

Although the match was short, Corbin put in a dominating performance. Former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger tried to fight back but ended being a victim to the End of Days.
Result: Baron Corbin defeated Jack Swagger

#4. Natalya and Carmella vs. Nikki Bella and Naomi

Naomi and Nikki had the crowd on their side throughout the match. It was a decent contest, with all the participants having their moments in the match. Nikki picked up the pinfall victory after the Rack Attack 2.0 on Carmella.
Result: Nikki Bella and Naomi defeated Carmella and Natalya

#5. The Miz (with Maryse) vs. Dolph Ziggler(c) [Intercontinental Championship match]

Ziggler received an amazing pop from the fans in Madrid in a match that was one of the best ones of the night. Maryse tried to interfere in the contest, which resulted in an appearance from Daniel Bryan.

She was sent back as per the orders of the Smackdown General Manager. Dolph soon picked up the win with a Superkick to The Miz.
Result: Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz to retain the Intercontinental Championship

#6. Becky Lynch(c) vs. Alexa Bliss [Smackdown Women's Championship match]

Although the match wasn't as good as their previous encounters, Lynch and Bliss delivered a decent match at the live event. Lynch got the win as Bliss submitted to the Dis-arm-her.
Result: Becky Lynch retained the Smackdown Women's Championship over Alexa Bliss

#7. The American Alphas (Chad Gable and Jason Jordon) and Kane vs. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Randy Orton

Gable and Jordon were involved for most of the match. An average match that was better than their previous outings. Kane chokeslammed Harper to pick up the win for his team.
Result: Kane and American Alphas defeated Luke Harper, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton

#8. AJ Styles(c) vs. Dean Ambrose [WWE World Championship match, with James Ellsworth as guest time keeper]

This was unsurprisingly the match of the night. Ellsworth's involvement added some comical moments in the contest. Styles pinned Ambrose via roll-up after the Lunatic Fringe collided with an uncovered turnbuckle. Ellsworth came to check on his friend but Styles attempted to beat him down. The live event ended with Styles receiving a ‘No-Chin’ Music and Dirty Deeds.

Result: AJ Styles defeated Dean Ambrose to retain the WWE World Championship

Moments after the show concluded, Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan, Curt Hawkins, Naomi and Natalya came out to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of WWE live events in Spain. On October 1991, Barcelona hosted the first ever WWE show in Spain.

#1 Big Cass (with Enzo) defeated Rusev (with Lana) (Singles match)
The match that started the live event did not last long, it was concluded within six minutes from the ringing of the bell. The short-lived match was a typical bout that featured a show of strength, other than that there was nothing that stood out. Enzo and Big Cass got a good pop and Lana was smoking hot as usual.

#2 Neville, Golden Truth, and Darren Young defeated Bo Dallas, The Shining Stars, and Titus O’Neil. (Eight-man tag team match)
The Golden Truth were the highlight of the match; their hilarious antics entertained the crowd. It was a kind of match that can be boring to watch on television but can give you a good time if you are present at the arena.

#3 Braun Strowman defeated Big Show (Body Slam challenge)
Witnessing the clash of the two giants in the ring was a spectacle in itself. Apart from that, it was a pretty boring match. Big Show got a huge pop from the crowd, which is indicative of his widespread popularity in France. Overall it was a pretty forgettable match, one that was neither good nor bad. This could also be an indication of Big Show being Strowman’s next opponent on the main roster.

#4 Sami Zayn defeated Chris Jericho (Singles match)
Chris Jericho is on a roll; this is unarguably his best run with WWE in recent history. The match in itself was a perfect combination of wrestling and storytelling. The underdog baby face Sami Zayn finished the match with a Blue Thunder Bomb, he even spoke French a couple of times during the match. The moment that stood out for me was when Jericho declared that France is not on his ‘list’, just because they don't deserve the honour. Crazy stuff! Hats off to you Y2J!
French fans desperate to get on the list of Jericho.

#5 Sasha Banks, Alicia Fox, and Bayley defeated Charlotte, Nia Jax, and Dana Brooke (Six-women tag team match)
This match was full of action. While Fox and Jax did not feature much, the other four tore the house down. Bayley’s persona uplifted the show; it was like a wave of happiness and joy had taken over the crowd whenever she was put into the shuffle. Sasha Banks finished the match by submitting Charlotte out with a Banks Statement. All in all, it was a highly entertaining bout. Good stuff from the ladies of the Red Brand.

#6 The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) (w/Xavier Woods) (c) defeated Sheamus & Cesaro (Tag team match for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship)
Good match with some great spots. The defective fellowship between Sheamus and Cesaro was highly entertaining. Cesaro got the crowd behind him, while some anti-Sheamus chants echoed the arena throughout the match. New day received a lukewarm response from the French crowd; perhaps the fans are getting over the ‘power of positivity’, after all.

#7 Kevin Owens (c) defeated Seth Rollins (Street Fight for the WWE Universal Championship)
It was perhaps the most technical match of the night, despite the stipulation. The two superstars synchronised beautifully in the longest match of the night. Traditional WWE weapons (chairs, tables, kendo stick) came into play pretty soon. Owens was the dominant man throughout the night and got the victory via roll up. His French roots inspired a good pop for him. Rollins concluded the night by putting Owens through a table. Thus ending the Live event on a sweet note.
