WWE NXT Results (5/27): Samoa Joe Appears, Kevin Owens, Tag Champions, Finn Balor In Action

- Kevin Owens comes out to Sami Zayn's music while wearing John Cena's shirt to a chorus of boos. He said he would make an NXT open challenge, but he's not insecure like John Cena. He thinks people should earn their title shots.

Owens says the only reason he backed down from Joe was to give fans a positive note to go home on. Regal comes out and complains about Owens hurting everyone on the roster.

Solomon Crowe comes out and calls Owens a piece of crap. Owens challenges Crowe to a match, and Regal agrees.

- We see the footage of Itami being injured last week.

Emma (w/ Dana Brooke) vs. Bayley

Emma has a new song and entrance. She tries to bully Bayley around, but Bayley turns things around and punches her in the face. Emma quickly turns the tides and methodically assaults Bayley. Emma lands a ponytail snapmare, then pulls Bayley's hair.

Emma taunts Bayley, but eats a snap suplex. Emma pulls Bayley off the top rope and applies the Emma Lock for the win.

Winner: Emma via submission

Emma and Dana attack Bayley after the match, and Charlotte makes the save. Brooke hits Charlotte with the Cradle Shock and they leave her laying.

- We see a recap of Baron Corbin vs. Rhyno from last week. Rhyno shows up and says they should do it again soon.

- They air the Becky Lynch mini-bio.

Blake & Murphy (w/ Alexa Bliss) vs. Elias Samson & Mike Rallis

After a Rallis headlock, the tag champions take over and work over the youngster. A slingshot senton sets up a rear chinlock and then a two count.

Samson gets the hot tag and cleans house. He hits a nice discus forearm but then eats a brainbuster and a frog splash for the pin.

Winners: Blake and Murphy via pinfall (frog splash)

Blake and Murphy continue the beat down after the match, with Bliss hitting a Sparkle Splash. Alexa Bliss says she's going to send Carmella back to the dump she came from.

Tye Dillinger vs. Finn Balor

Balor hits a dropkick out of a sunset flip attempt, but Dillinger gets right back on the offensive. Balor breaks a rear chinlock and lands the Slingblade, then dropkicks him into the corner. Coup de Grace, that's it.

Winner: Finn Balor via pinfall (Coup de Grace)

- Jason Jordan is shown backstage and says he's found a new partner. Chad Gable throws his hat in the ring, but Jordan turns him down.

Kevin Owens vs. Solomon Crowe

Owens dips out of the ring and attacks Crowe when he gives chase. Crowe fights back and goes to the top rope, but Owens tosses him outside the ring as we go to a commercial break.

We come back to Owens working a rear chinlock, and then cuts Crowe off when he tries to come back. Owens throws Crowe outside the ring and tries to get a countout, but Crowe gets back in and gets booted.

Crowe gets to the apron and battles back with punches and kicks. A big running knee in the corner doesn't help, as Owens clotheslines, sentons and powerbombs him for the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens via pinfall (pop-up powerbomb)

Owens tries to attack Crowe again, butSamoa Joe comes out and gets in his face. Owens leaves and says Joe is warned

WWE NXT Live Event Results From Cleveland, Ohio (6/12): Dusty Rhodes Salute

WWE live event results from Cleveland, Ohio.

* The show started out with a ten bell salute to Dusty Rhodes.

* Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady defeated The Vaudevillians with the Rocket Launcher.

* Bull Dempsey defeated Jason Jordan. The crowd didn't seem to like this match.

* Baron Corbin defeated Rhyno. Baron Corbin got eaten alive by the crowd.

* Bayley & Carmella defeated Emma & Dana Brooke. Emma trashed Cleveland, which is where Dana is from. Bayley got a big pop.

* NXT Tag Champions Blake & Murphy defeated Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder to defend the championships.

* NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte via submission to retain the title. Charlotte hit a bionic elbow during the match.

* NXT Champion Kevin Owens defeated Tyler Breeze, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe to retain the title. The match was said to be incredible, and ended with Samoa Joe "too sweeting" Finn Balor

6/24 WWE NXT Results: Hideo Itami Returns, Finn Balor vs. Rhyno

* Kevin Owens interrupts a Hideo Itamipromo and takes credit for Hideo being injured. Finn Balor stops Hideo from being attacked, getting into it with Owens. Rhyno meets them on the stage and takes out Finn

* Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeated Jason Jordan and Sylvester Lefort

* Dana Brooke defeated KC

* Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley defeated Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton

* Finn defeated Rhyno. Owens tried to attack but Samoa Joe made the save

The Vaudevillians vs Blake and Murphy (c)

Alexa mocks the Vaudevillains for not having anyone to help and tries to slap them, but Gotch grabs her arm and Blue Pants come to the ring. The bell rings and Gotch gets an early pin attempt, then Murphy ties him up and Blake tries to assist. English hits a double armdrag and applies a wristlock, then he goes for a springboard but Murphy pulls the ropes down. Murphy stomps him a few times and applies a headlock, then Blake gets back in and throws a few strikes.

* Chris Girard defeated Mojo Rawley in a hot opener. Stiff action by Girard that had the crowd really into him. Not a lot of Mojo fans tonight but he acted like they were

* Bayley and Carmella defeated Dana Brookeand Peyton Royce when Bayley pinned Dana. Loud pop for Carmella and Bayley when they came out, great match for the women

* Manny Andrade defeated Tommaso Ciampa in a sick match, going to be hard to top this one. Both men got big reactions after the match, especially Manny

* Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Elias Samson. Loud heat for The Drifter and his guitar but Nakamura’s pop for his entrance was crazy loud. Amazing ring work here and fun antics/comedy from Nakamura. He made Elias look pretty good

* NXT Tag Team Champions Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated Dash and Dawson in a 2 of 3 Falls Match, 2-1. Loud reactions for American Alpha, such good in-ring work by both teams. The ending was really cool as they won with double ankle locks in the middle of the ring

* NXT Women’s Champion Asuka defeated Alexa Bliss by submission with the Asuka Lock. Bliss was very good with the crowd and Asuka was on fire

* NXT Champion Samoa Joe retained overAustin Aries and Finn Balor in the main event. Joe was about to put Aries out with the Coquina Clutch when Balor hit Aries and Joe with a Coup de Grace. Balor then hit the 1916 on Aries but Joe stole the pin for the win. Balor cut a post-match promo and said he’s staying in NXT
