There were little surprises in India's 15-member Asia Cup and World Twenty20 squad announced by the BCCI on Friday, but legspinner Amit Mishra, batsman Manish Pandey and swing bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar may consider themselves unlucky not to get the big ticket, which went to rookie allrounders Pawan Negi and Hardik Pandya.
If any, Negi, who has been picked for the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, is the only surprise name in the squad as he is yet to make his international debut. The only other surprise, if it's one, would be the inclusion of two offspinners, as the selectors stuck with Harbhajan Singh, along with R Ashwin.
