Zee is going to launch one more GEC, Zee Anmol...

Indiantelevision.com has learnt that there is more in the offering from the Zee TV network. It is slated to launch another GEC in September called Anmol which is likely to take on Star's second GEC Life OK. The new channel will also help it provide inventory to advertisers, which is set to reduce, courtesy the TRAI ad cap which will be implemented from 1 October onwards.

zee have 3 channels in gec era, so i think they will change brand name of their 9x or launch complete new channel for fresh content like life ok. Zee is not managing their channels , if we see there are 2 channels for music but not so popular, 4 movie channel but except zee cinema, not achieve big success but on other hand star is managing their channel very well. So before launch new channel, they need to think on fresh content as well as marketing

Zee Network have already 2 flop channels... Zee Next was launched once upon a time but before complete 1 year channel goes shut-down
another is Zee Smile basically was a Comedy channel but not gained popularity and now showing reapeted shows of Zee TV

Zee Trendz is another one of those channels... which lost plot, now its a mix channel, showing bollywood movies, music, english serials... and just for laughs.
