“Today, kids can access content whenever they wish. Topper TV has tried to create appointment viewing, which no longer works, especially in the education genre,” says Das. Topper TV, too, is a pure-subscription channel, priced at Rs 60, which is Rs 10 more than the Rs 50 ZeeQ is expected to charge.

In Press Release, they are saying Rs 50 for Zee Q whereas DTH Operators are charging Rs 77 and still they are confident of 1 million subscription in a year :p

The subscription-driven channel will go on air on November 5 and aims to have 1 million subscribers by the first year.

They announced all sort of offer and promotion but I am sure except hardcore Golf fans, no one have even thought about subscribing this channel. And even if they provide this channel for free, rarely situation will change.

It seems that Videocon and Media Pro are having very nice relationship. That's why d2h managed to grab so many HD, Zee and Star Channels.
