But I don't think it happens the same with 16:9 ratio.
Only the picture stretches upward and downwars for full screen viewing. You can check this in VLC media player. It would be better than zooming on TV.

Some videos don't even come in full screen after selecting 16:9 ascept ratio. And please note that cropping is different thing.

If dishtv purchasing only HD version of History then they simply loose the money of SD version ? Isn't it ?

They already objecting on everything.

If they are not objecting then I am sure there is no place of such things in their deal but can't say exactly what could be the reason.

It is simmilar . my tv is not set to full pixel thats why it is looking like that.
