Not like that bro.They have changed only aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9.Its still remains 480P means standard definition only.

i found the difference on my lcd tv bro, the clarity is in 72op only.

they put either black bar on top and bottom or pan and scan them i.e. both sides of the pictures cut.

I think none of the DTHs are giving 720P format.Either they are giving 480P as standard definition or 1080i as high definition.Of course there is no much difference in 720P or 1080P in below 40" TVs.after that only we can see the difference.

So I'm watching 4:3 SD content in16:9 on my LED is actually processed by TV? That's why most of the channels hae black bar, except for some contents which come in full screen.
